GENERAL QUESTIONS

How do I become a Cotton and Wax stockist?

If you would like to set up a wholesale account, please apply to become a stockist by
filling out our Stockist Application Form.

How can I place an order?
Please download our Wholesale Order Form and fill in the desired items for purchase. Those forms can be emailed to wholesale@cottonandwax.com for processing. Please order each SKU in increments of 3.

What is your lead time?

Our current lead time is about 1-2 weeks. All of our products are made to order so this is subject to change often. Larger orders may require a longer lead time; please contact us for information about availability.

What are the order minimums?

Initial order minimum:  $150
Restock order minimum:  $100
Please order each SKU in increments of 3.

What are your best sellers?
Our soy candles are our sell best selling product line. Pine Forest Leather, Oakmoss Fig Amber, Blue Ridge Campfire, Eucalyptus Sea Salt ,and Grapefruit Sage are the top sellers. For more information about what scents may do well in your market, email  wholesale@cottonandwax.com!

Can I order testers?

Half price testers are available for burning or display purposes for all C&W products. Please note, there is a maximum of 1 tester per SKU ordered.

When displaying reed diffuser testers, we do not recommend more than one reed diffuser in a retail space as the scent throw for the diffusers is much stronger and can overpower if more than one is used.

Do you offer any POS items?

We have a 8.5" x 5.5" free-standing foam core POP sign available. This lists the retail price of the soy candles. It also has a short description of the candles themselves as well as our mission to donate to animal rescue. 

Do your candles come packaged in gift boxes? What about reed diffusers?

To keep with the simple ethos of our design, our candles do not come with extra packaging. Gift boxes are available upon request for a fee of 60¢ per box. If gift boxes are requested, candles will not come pre-packed - boxes are shipped flat.

Reed diffusers do come packaged in a recycled kraft, 3" x 3" x 10" box.

What is your returns/exchanges policy?


Returns are available if an item arrives damaged. Shipping costs cannot be refunded. Exchanges are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Exchanges are not available on seasonal or special scents.

How should I order for the holidays?

Due to increased demand, our lead time can run up to two weeks during the holiday season. We recommend placing holiday preorders at least 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure timely delivery. Please note, we cannot hold past due orders for longer than 2 business days during the holiday season. During the 4th quarter, we ask that orders be finalized upon placement.

DOMESTIC STOCKISTS

How do I pay?

Payment is available directly through our secure online Xero invoicing system. All major credit cards are accepted as well as bank wire. Checks can be made payable to “Cotton and Wax Candle Co.” and must clear before shipment. Alternatively, we can hold a credit card number on file for future orders.

When is payment due?

Payment is due 1 day prior to the ship date. Orders that are pre-paid may be shipped sooner if possible. Out of fairness to our other stockists in the shipping queue, orders past due for more than 2 days will be moved to the next available ship date in order to prevent disruption of the queue.

What is your recommended MSRP/RRP?

We request that our products be sold at the retail price of:
Soy candles:  $22-24
Reed diffusers:  $24-26
Incense cones:  $18-20

What is your default shipping carrier?

We ship wholesale orders via FedEx or via USPS for smaller quantities and international orders.
